Supplementing with Nutrisilk: Add an [EASY] Extra Step to Your Beauty Routine

It doesn't take rocket science to know when our bodies are lacking something. Especially when the most noticeable aspects of your appearance begin to reflect that deficiency. Perhaps your hair has become dry and brittle, falls out like crazy, or refuses to grow. Maybe your nails are cracking and will break at the slightest force. Or it could be that acne appearance on your face and neck, or the dried out skin that makes it hard to put makeup on in the morning. Do any of these sound familiar?

Dull hair, weak nails, and a less-than-flawless complexion can be the result of many different things, including poor hygiene, insufficient water intake, high stress levels, lack of sleep, hormonal changes, or a limited, nutritionally-sparse diet. But maybe you have addressed all of those areas, and still see no changes to your hair, skin, and nail appearance. It is likely that your body still needs something else.

When we created NutriSilk, we wanted to create a product that gives our hair, nails, and skin that extra "boost" that sometimes good diet, sleep, and water intake alone can't do. With ingredients like Biotin, Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen chosen to nourish, strengthen, and moisturize our most noticeable features, you can know that even when you are working hard to keep life balanced, you have some behind-the-scenes help to balance your body, too.

  • Promotes Healthy Skin, Hair, and Nails with added B vitamins for balanced support
  • Hyaluronic Acid--the most hydrophilic natural molecule--described as "nature's moisturizer"
  • Collagen renews cells, maintains strength and elasticity
  • Intense nutrional support with a high dose of Biotin enhances weak hair and nails
  • Gluten-Free

Contains Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, and more

Hyaluronic Acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the human body, is a fluid that has many different roles. In the average human being, 15 grams of this fluid or more can be found, with over one third of it being synthesized each and every day. But what purpose does it play? With most found inside the skin and around the joints, hyaluronic acids acts as a cushion and a lubricant, filling the space between the joints and within the cells of the skin. It is this "filling" characteristic it possesses that leads many to believe that hyaluronic acid can be used to help fill the wrinkles of skin associated with aging (and hence its use among plastic surgeons!)

Collagen, on the other hand, is the most abundant protein found in the human body. Found in the molecular makeup of the bones, muscles, skin and tendons, collagen is essentially the "substance that holds the body together". Like hyaluronic acid, collagen can be used as a skin filler, but plays a much bigger part in the body than that. With its long, thin fibrils, it is a supporting structure and anchors to cells to hold them together. Additionally, collagen can be used at the site of wounds to help draw new blood cells to the exposed flesh.

Healthy Skin, Hair, and Nails Requires Healthy Habits

Keeping your hair, skin and nails healthy and nourished requires a lifestyle commitment to giving your body what it needs (and withholding what it doesn't!) to sustain them. Making many small changes to your diet, exercise, and sleep patterns will not only affect your hair, skin, and nail health, but it will also improve the physical and mental well-being of the rest of your body.

1). Focus on a healthy, clean, balanced diet. Limit your intake of refined sugars and processed foods (these can cause infections in the skin and nails), and increase your lean protein intake--protein is what makes up your hair and nails, after all.

2). Drink plenty of water. Drinking water helps your kidneys cleanse easier, and also flushes the body of toxins. More clean water intake often leads to a clearer complexion.

3). Don't stress it! Stress often leads to acne, as well as poor diet decisions. Practice deep breathing, or take a yoga class to help you unwind.

4). Exercise, exercise, exercise. Not only does consistent aerobic activity improve physical health and body composition, but the increased blood flow allows for better circulation to the extremities--and better circulation means more nutrients to areas like the nails and hair.

5). Apply moisturizer to keep your hair, skin, and nails protected, and keep them clean.
