fifty-two years in
We're not getting old either.
We've been making supplements in Oregon since 1974. Ken and Candi Scott started the company in Portland, and by 1980 they had moved it into an old creamery in Mt. Angel, the Willamette Valley farm town our brand is named for. In 2017 the three people who run it today, Rob Ugianskis, Keith Gregory and John Mills, bought it from them, and they still work in that building. Fifty-two years in, we're still updating our classics and launching newer healthy-aging science.

Questions people ask us
Who makes Mt. Angel Vitamins?
Highland Laboratories, which has made supplements in Oregon since 1974 and makes them today in Mt. Angel, a Willamette Valley farm town of about 3,500. It has been owned and run since 2017 by Rob Ugianskis, Keith Gregory and John Mills, who bought it from its founders, Ken and Candi Scott.
Where are Mt. Angel Vitamins made?
In the USA, at our facility in Mt. Angel, Oregon. The facility is independently certified for current good manufacturing practices.
How do you test your supplements?
Every incoming ingredient lot is tested for identity, potency, heavy metals and microbes before we can use it, and independent ISO 17025-accredited labs verify our results. More than 99% of our tests pass. When a lot misses its specification, like a lot of L-citrulline that came in 12% under spec, it never goes into a bottle.
Can I see the test certificate for my bottle?
Yes. Every lot has a certificate of analysis. Enter the lot number from your bottle on our test record page.
Which supplements should I start with?
