Women’s Multi with KSM-66® Ashwagandha – Energy & Stress Support | 60 Capsules
Women's Multi is a daily multivitamin for women with 23 vitamins and minerals, 300 mg of KSM-66® ashwagandha extract and 50 mg of CoQ10 in each 2-capsule serving. It uses methylcobalamin (B12), calcium folinate, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 as MK-7. One bottle holds 60 capsules, or 30 servings. It helps fill everyday nutrient gaps and supports a healthy response to stress.†
This one is for women in their 30s and 40s who are already doing the work: moving most days, eating vegetables on purpose, sleeping when the week allows. Food rarely covers everything every day, and the stretch between the 7 a.m. alarm and the 4 p.m. meeting isn't kind to your stress levels. Women's Multi is the foundation layer, with active forms where the form matters and an adaptogen for the busy part. Aging isn't optional. Getting old is.
We've been making supplements in Oregon since 1974, and a solid daily multi is still the first bottle we'd put in your cabinet.

How Women's Multi works
B vitamins, two in active forms
B vitamins help your cells turn food into usable energy.† B12 comes as methylcobalamin, one of the two coenzyme forms of B12 your body uses. Folate comes as calcium folinate (folinic acid), a reduced folate that enters the folate cycle without the conversion step folic acid needs. Folic acid works for most people; folinate simply skips that step. At 3,333% of the Daily Value, biotin can cause falsely high or low lab results, so mention it before blood work.
Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 (MK-7)
Vitamin D comes as D3 (cholecalciferol), 25 mcg (1,000 IU). A meta-analysis of randomized trials comparing D2 and D3 found D3 raised blood vitamin D levels more effectively, though the gap was clearest with large, infrequent doses and wasn't significant with daily dosing.
Vitamin K comes as K2 in the MK-7 form, 80 mcg. In a study in healthy volunteers comparing K1 and MK-7, both were absorbed well, but MK-7 stayed in the blood far longer, built up to 7 to 8 times higher levels during prolonged daily intake, and more fully activated osteocalcin, a vitamin K-dependent bone protein. D3 and K2 support healthy bones.†
Vitamins A, C and E, and the minerals
Vitamin C is calcium ascorbate, a buffered, less acidic form and the source of the 13 mg of calcium. Vitamin E is d-alpha-tocopherol, the naturally sourced form. Most minerals are bound to amino acids or citrate, like zinc as L-zinc methionine and selenium as L-selenomethionine, and iodine comes from Laminaria digitata, a brown seaweed.
Now the candid part. It takes hundreds of milligrams of calcium, magnesium or potassium to make a real dent, and that won't fit in two capsules. So you get 13 mg of calcium, 20 mg of magnesium, 40 mg of potassium and no iron. An analysis of survey data on 10,698 US adults notes that dietary guidelines list all four as under-consumed, and found supplement users had higher intakes of 15 to 16 of 19 nutrients (intake data, not health outcomes). Want more magnesium? Good Magnesium adds 200 mg per capsule.
KSM-66® ashwagandha
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is an Ayurvedic herb often called an adaptogen, meaning one taken to help the body handle stress. KSM-66® is a branded ashwagandha extract, 300 mg per serving. A 2023 systematic review of 9 trials in stressed adults found ashwagandha lowered cortisol, the body's main stress hormone, without significant side effects. The limits: the trials varied in extract, dose and length (30 to 112 days), and none tracked long-term effects. Encouraging, not settled. KSM-66® supports a healthy response to everyday stress.†
Coenzyme Q10
Your cells make CoQ10 and use it in their mitochondria to produce energy; it also works as an antioxidant. Each serving has 50 mg. A review of how CoQ10 is absorbed describes a large, fat-soluble molecule with slow, limited absorption, a blood peak about 6 hours after a dose and a half-life of about 33 hours. Translation: daily consistency matters more than the exact hour. CoQ10 supports cellular energy production.†
Lutein and the plant blend
You also get 1 mg of lutein and the 200 mg plant blend listed above. Straight math: 200 mg shared by 15 ingredients averages about 13 mg each, so think of it as a sprinkle, not a stand-in for vegetables. We don't make eye or heart claims for it.
How to take Women's Multi
Directions from the label: "As a dietary supplement, take two capsules daily."
- The label doesn't mention food; since vitamins A, D, E and K and CoQ10 are fat-soluble, a meal is a reasonable default.
- Count your vitamin D across products. This serving has 25 mcg (1,000 IU); the NIH upper limit for adults is 100 mcg (4,000 IU) a day.
- On a blood thinner? Vitamin K can interact with warfarin and similar anticoagulants, and the MK-7 study above noted that 50 mcg a day or more may interfere with them. This serving has 80 mcg.
- The NIH fact sheet on ashwagandha notes it was well tolerated in trials for up to about 3 months, long-term safety isn't known, there are a few reports of liver side effects, it might affect thyroid function and interact with some medications, and some experts advise against it in pregnancy.
Ask your healthcare practitioner before use if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.
Don't take our word for it
- Verified by independent labs. ISO 17025-accredited labs check our test results.
- Every ingredient lot tested before use. Federal rules only require an identity test. We test every incoming lot for identity, potency, heavy metals and microbes, all the way down a multivitamin's long ingredient list.
- If it misses spec, it doesn't go in a bottle. More than 99% of our tests pass, and the lots that don't are turned away.
- A certificate of analysis for every lot. Every lot of Women's Multi has one.

Frequently asked questions
How many capsules of Women's Multi do I take?
Two capsules daily, as the label directs. That's one serving, so a 60-capsule bottle lasts 30 days.
Who is Women's Multi for?
Adult women, especially in their 30s and 40s, who want stress support built into their multi. Over 50? Women's 50+ Multivitamin has the same 300 mg of KSM-66® with 100 mg of CoQ10, 10 mg of lutein and 2 mg of zeaxanthin. It isn't a prenatal; if you're pregnant or trying, talk with your practitioner and see our prenatal formula, My Prenatal.
Does Women's Multi contain iron or calcium?
No iron, and only 13 mg of calcium (1% DV). A meaningful amount of either won't fit in two capsules alongside everything else.
How long until I notice anything?
There's no set timeline. Vitamins and minerals work quietly, so you may not "feel" them at all, and the ashwagandha trials in the 2023 review ran 30 to 112 days. Give it at least a month of daily use before you judge.
Can I take it with other Mt. Angel Vitamins products?
Usually, if you add up overlaps, especially vitamin D. For more CoQ10, CoQ10 100 mg + Alpha Lipoic Acid adds 100 mg per capsule.
Is it safe to take with medication?
Ask your practitioner first. Vitamin K2 can interact with warfarin-type blood thinners, biotin can skew some lab tests, and ashwagandha may interact with some medications.
