Inflameze is a botanical joint support supplement with 150 mg of Boswellia serrata extract, 100 mg of bromelain, 100 mg of quercetin and 50 mg of Curcumin C3 Complex (turmeric curcuminoids) in every 1-capsule serving, plus devil's claw root, yucca root extract and alfalfa leaf. Each bottle holds 60 vegetarian capsules, taken one capsule twice daily, to support joint comfort and flexibility.†

Inflameze is for active adults who want their joints to keep up with their plans, like the runner still logging miles at 45. It puts the three ingredients named on the front of the bottle (boswellia, bromelain and turmeric) into one small capsule, so you're not lining up five bottles on the counter.

Aging isn't optional. Getting old is. Joints are often where people first feel the difference, and the habits that matter (strength work, walking, sleep, decent food) pay off most when you start in your 30s and 40s. Inflameze is one small, steady part of that routine, not a stand-in for any of it.

Why people take Inflameze

  • Supports joint comfort and flexibility with boswellia, turmeric curcuminoids and bromelain in one capsule.†
  • Supports muscle comfort and recovery after hard exercise, with turmeric curcuminoids from Curcumin C3 Complex.†
  • Rounds out everyday joint support with 100 mg of quercetin plus devil's claw root, yucca root extract and alfalfa leaf in the same capsule.†

Serving size: 1 vegetarian capsule. The bottle holds 60 vegetarian capsules, so that's 60 one-capsule servings, or 30 days at one capsule twice daily. Other ingredients: Vegetable cellulose (preservative-free, from capsule shell), deep mined calcium phosphate, cellulose, organic rice extract, and organic rice concentrate. The label states: "NO corn, soy, salt, yeast, gluten, milk & egg products, sugar, starch, or preservatives." It also states: "This product does not contain genetically modified materials." The label also notes that Curcumin C³ Complex® is a patented product of Sabinsa Corporation.

How Inflameze works

Straight talk: we know of no clinical trial on Inflameze as a finished formula. The research below is on single ingredients, usually in other forms and amounts.

Boswellia serrata extract: 150 mg

Boswellia serrata, sometimes called Indian frankincense, is a tree native to India, and boswellia extracts are usually made from its gum resin. Our label doesn't state a boswellic acid percentage, so we won't quote one or borrow results from studies of extracts standardized to specific levels.

In a crossover study in healthy men, taking a boswellia extract with a high-fat meal raised blood levels of several boswellic acids several-fold compared with an empty stomach, and two of them only showed up at all with food. That study used a different extract at a much larger single dose (786 mg), but it's why we suggest taking Inflameze with a meal.

Curcumin C3 Complex: 50 mg of turmeric curcuminoids

Turmeric is the golden root in curry, and curcuminoids are the compounds behind that color. Per the label, Curcumin C3 Complex is a standardized extract of Curcuma longa with a minimum of 95% curcuminoids (curcumin, bisdemethoxy curcumin and demethoxy curcumin), so you know what's in each 50 mg.

The honest catch: curcumin on its own is poorly absorbed, quickly broken down and quickly cleared, as a review of curcumin's bioavailability lays out. Some formulas add piperine (black pepper extract) to help. Inflameze doesn't; the FAQ below points to the two Inflameze formulas that do.

What the research shows: an umbrella review of meta-analyses of randomized trials rated curcumin's effect on muscle soreness after muscle-damaging exercise as moderate-certainty evidence.† What it doesn't: a meta-analysis of 16 studies found no statistically significant effect on post-exercise soreness, muscle damage markers or inflammation markers. Both reviews pooled trials that used various curcumin forms and doses, so read them as background, not a promise for 50 mg per capsule.

Bromelain: 100 mg of pineapple enzymes

Bromelain is a mix of protein-digesting enzymes from pineapple. Most proteins get broken down in the gut before absorption, but in a study of 19 healthy men, some bromelain reached the bloodstream intact and kept part of its enzyme activity. They took 3 grams a day, 15 times the 200 mg in two Inflameze capsules, so the study shows absorption happens, not how much you get at this dose.

Quercetin: 100 mg

Quercetin is a plant pigment found in apples, onions, capers and tea. In a 2-week randomized trial in 35 healthy adults taking 50, 100 or 150 mg a day, the 100 mg group's blood quercetin rose 359% from baseline. The same trial found no change in blood antioxidant capacity or inflammation markers, so we won't claim more than this: quercetin gets absorbed.

Devil's claw root, yucca root and alfalfa leaf

Devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is a southern African plant named for the hooked claws on its fruit. "4:1 extract" means four parts yucca root were concentrated into one part extract. Alfalfa leaf comes from the same plant farmers grow for hay. At 50 mg, 25 mg and 25 mg per capsule, these are supporting players, and we haven't found human research at these amounts we'd stand behind, so we make no specific claims for them.

How to take Inflameze

The label directions: "One capsule twice daily. May take up to 4 capsules daily, as a dietary supplement."

Our suggestion: one with breakfast and one with dinner (see the boswellia food study above). If you go above two a day, stay at or under the label's 4-capsule maximum.

Ask your healthcare practitioner before use if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition. If you take prescription medication, including blood thinners, show your practitioner or pharmacist the Supplement Facts panel before you start.

Don't take our word for it

We've been making supplements in Oregon since 1974. Here's how each bottle earns its spot on your shelf.

  • Verified by independent labs. ISO 17025-accredited labs check our test results.
  • Every ingredient lot tested before use. Federal rules only require an identity test on incoming dietary ingredients. We test every incoming lot, boswellia, turmeric extract, bromelain and the rest, for identity, potency, heavy metals and microbes.
  • If it misses spec, it doesn't go in a bottle. More than 99% of our tests pass, and the lots that don't are turned away.
  • A certificate of analysis for every lot. Every lot of Inflameze has its own.

Made in the USA. Made and tested in Mt. Angel, Oregon. Mt. Angel is a farm town of about 3,500 people in the Willamette Valley. Our UL-certified cGMP facility there keeps formulators, makers and testers under one roof, and the owners work in the building too. After 52 years of making supplements, we're not getting old either.

Frequently asked questions

How many Inflameze capsules should I take a day?

One capsule twice daily, per the label, which also allows up to 4 capsules a day. Two capsules give you 300 mg of boswellia extract, 200 mg each of bromelain and quercetin, and 100 mg of Curcumin C3 Complex. A 60-capsule bottle lasts 30 days at two a day.

Should I take Inflameze with food?

We suggest it. The label doesn't require food, but boswellic acid levels were several-fold higher when boswellia was taken with a high-fat meal than on an empty stomach in the study above.

How long before I notice a difference?

There's no set timeline, and we won't make one up. Take it steadily at the label's dose and judge it by how your normal week feels: the walk, the workout, the yard work.†

Which Inflameze is right for me?

Inflameze (this one) spreads each capsule across seven ingredients, led by boswellia, bromelain and quercetin. Inflameze Advanced is built around 250 mg of Curcumin Complex (from CurcuWIN™) per capsule, with a blend that includes boswellia standardized to 70% boswellic acids and Bioperine™. Inflameze Ultra has 500 mg of Curcumin C3 Complex per 2-capsule serving, with ParActin® andrographis, organic ginger root and BioPerine®. If turmeric is your main interest, start with those two.

Can I take Inflameze with Joint Solution or the Joint + Mobility Stack?

Yes, but count the overlap. Joint Solution and Joint Solution Advanced share many of the same botanicals; a full 4-capsule serving of Joint Solution Advanced adds 400 mg of boswellia extract, 200 mg each of bromelain and quercetin, and 100 mg of Curcumin C3 Complex. The Joint + Mobility Stack pairs Inflameze with MSM 2000 and Joint Solution Advanced, so that overlap is built in. Both Joint Solution labels state they contain glucosamine isolated from crab shell. Run any stack past your practitioner.

Is Inflameze safe to take with medication?

Ask your healthcare practitioner first, and bring the Supplement Facts panel so they can check each ingredient against your medication list.

Is Inflameze vegetarian?

Yes. The label calls them vegetarian capsules, with a vegetable cellulose shell. The label doesn't make a vegan claim.
